abby & charles {junior prom}

Half of this group had to run at track meets the afternoon of their junior prom!  I’m so impressed that not only did everyone get showered, but they looked AWESOME! The girls were gorgeous in their stunning gowns; and the guys were rocking the tuxedos! I had such a great time photographing these amazing teens!  […]

birds & bees {spring photography}

Spring is here.  With it’s arrival, comes lots of critter activities. I’m in love with this little blackcap chickadee that is collecting dog hairs, off my back deck, for what is sure to be the most luxurious nest in the neighborhood. Look at that cute little face! Just before take off with the newly collected […]

rainy day {blues}

Whether you are a small dog or trying to fly out of a large metropolitan airport (read JFK), rainy days can make you blue.  I was supposed to fly to Los Angeles today, but because of the very rainy weather, my flight kept getting delayed further and further into the evening.   So instead of spending […]

Noele - Great doggie expressions – even the little legs are expressive.

senior cards {new products}

Have I told you that I’m in the process of designing a new website? These things always take so much longer than I expect or want them to.  In the end, I’m hoping it will all be worth it.  One of the new features that I will have on my new site, is a product […]

abby {senior portraits}

I’ve been juggling a few projects this past week.  I’m happy to say, however, that I just finished Abby’s senior portrait slide show.  There are so many great shots. Not hard to do, when you have the stunningly gorgeous Abby to work with.   I probably squeezed a few too many images into the slides […]

recent {press} » Alice G Patterson Photography {blog} - [...] If that isn’t enough, last month I was so honored to be featured in a big ole article in the local paper called the Messenger.  This wonderful article was written by the lovely Lori Ruhlman (hi Lori!).  The article focuses on my big move from California to Central New York, and establishing my bi-coastal business from my new home.  The portrait of me and my three dogs was photographed by the uber fab Justin and Mary Marantz.  The article also published a couple of my photographs from a family portrait session and a senior portrait session…. :Della - Dude-luv it.

Jeremy - Wow, this is absolutely fantastic. I think pictures 16, 18 & 19 are my favorite, with Abby hiding behind her cello. ^_^

Love the ones taken around town too, gives it a character that you just wouldn’t get in a normal studio photo shoot.

Cheri Carbaugh - I am so totally in love!
I just watched Abby’s slide show. I am so proud to be able to say that she is my niece! And to say that I’ve met the photographer!

OK, I really have to get back to work now. But I can’t wait until I have time to look at more of your work. Work? Art is a more apt description!

Big Smiles,
~ Cheri

Another Happy Customer - Abby – what a beautiful way to start a Friday morning. Everything is just lovely – how nice to have a senior session that involves more than a few head shots. I’m totally impressed – you will always treasure these pictures – especially after many years. The best thing though is that photos like these will always bring back the look and the feelings no matter the time. Great job, Alice.

Abby - I absolutely love this slide show and I loved shooting with you! Thanks so much Alice! =]

abby {sneak peek}

I had the great pleasure of photographing Abby’s senior portrait this past weekend.  In addition to a nice portrait for the yearbook, I really like to do lifestyle portraits for my seniors.  The photo sessions turn out to be really fun for both me and the seniors.  Right Abby?  Well, here is a sneak peek […]

Fola - thank you so much… will be trying it soon…

Jeremy - Man, this is pretty slick! This may expose my inner geek, but I like how it’s got a mobile phone css layout so I don’t have to scroll all over the page. I just have to figure out if there’s a way to view the slideshow pictures without flash… :P

alice - Fola, I see that you have a ProPhoto blog too… they are the best! Go to your upload panel, and scroll down and you’ll see a place to upload your iPhone webclip icon. Note, the are specific instructions on sizing. Super fun and easy, once you get your icon designed and sized properly. Love those iPhones and ProPhoto Blogs.

Fola - ok this is way too cool… how did you create the iphone application? You must be some kind of genius…tips and pointers please…

Wishful in Virginia - I wish my service provider had the iphone…..

Giovanni Mercado - Great feature! I wish I had an i-phone. When I get the new generation in the fall i’ll add it to my phone.
