Absolutely loving the new trend in stop motion messages. Carrie’s and Andy’s Valentines Day themed portrait session, gave me the perfect opportunity to give it a try for myself. These two are so cute, and I couldn’t be happier with this fun little valentine message… The creative possibilities for this type of fun stop motion...

Noelle - Ohhhhh – I love it! It is retro and new at the same time….
I’ve added a new “photo booth” service as an a la carte option for my 2010 clients. It’s brand new service, so we thought we would try it out last weekend. My niece invited her friends over to my house for a little pre-dance photo party, before they headed out for a great night at...

After back to back trips to California and Boston, I’m finally catching up on my editing. Jamie (Helena’s pop) picked out this great indie rock song for their slideshow. The song is called “Ageless Beauty,” and I think it’s a pretty safe bet to say the title describes both of Jamie’s loves… Helena and her...

This father and daughter duo, are the best of the best! Okay, I confess I’m totally biased… you see, for the past four years, I’ve been lucky enough to call these two my family. There are not enough adjectives in the world to express how truly awesome Giovanni and Besso are! A few weeks ago,...

Beth - Fantastic photos!
I’ve been juggling a few projects this past week. I’m happy to say, however, that I just finished Abby’s senior portrait slide show. There are so many great shots. Not hard to do, when you have the stunningly gorgeous Abby to work with. I probably squeezed a few too many images into the slides...

:Della - Dude-luv it.
Jeremy - Wow, this is absolutely fantastic. I think pictures 16, 18 & 19 are my favorite, with Abby hiding behind her cello. ^_^
Love the ones taken around town too, gives it a character that you just wouldn’t get in a normal studio photo shoot.
Cheri Carbaugh - I am so totally in love!
I just watched Abby’s slide show. I am so proud to be able to say that she is my niece! And to say that I’ve met the photographer!
OK, I really have to get back to work now. But I can’t wait until I have time to look at more of your work. Work? Art is a more apt description!
Big Smiles,

Another Happy Customer - Abby – what a beautiful way to start a Friday morning. Everything is just lovely – how nice to have a senior session that involves more than a few head shots. I’m totally impressed – you will always treasure these pictures – especially after many years. The best thing though is that photos like these will always bring back the look and the feelings no matter the time. Great job, Alice.
Abby - I absolutely love this slide show and I loved shooting with you! Thanks so much Alice! =]
recent {press} » Alice G Patterson Photography {blog} - [...] If that isn’t enough, last month I was so honored to be featured in a big ole article in the local paper called the Messenger. This wonderful article was written by the lovely Lori Ruhlman (hi Lori!). The article focuses on my big move from California to Central New York, and establishing my bi-coastal business from my new home. The portrait of me and my three dogs was photographed by the uber fab Justin and Mary Marantz. The article also published a couple of my photographs from a family portrait session and a senior portrait session…. [...]

As always – AMAZING. Particularly like the last shot with all of the helpers — I’m sure the one with the shorter arms was the tree placement guide.

At the last minute, I entered a photo into Pacific Weddings Magazine’s Photo Contest. The theme is “Nostalgic.” Most of the examples PW is featuring are posed portraits; but I just love this candid I caught during Karina and Bruno’s first dance. Nothing is more nostalgic than memories with a true love; and to me,...

k - We love Alice’s style. Her pictures capture a great quiet energy… you can see the inner thoughts and feelings. We felt very comfortable with her being around us all the time on our big day. That is probably the most telling thing we can say about her. We cherish the finished album. It contains all the hidden details and colors of what we experienced.
