Absolutely loving the new trend in stop motion messages. Carrie’s and Andy’s Valentines Day themed portrait session, gave me the perfect opportunity to give it a try for myself.

These two are so cute, and I couldn’t be happier with this fun little valentine message…

winter semi formal {photo party}

I’ve added a new “photo booth” service as an a la carte option for my 2010 clients. It’s brand new service, so we thought we would try it out last weekend. My niece invited her friends over to my house for a little pre-dance photo party, before they headed out for a great night at their high school semi formal. Beth (my sister/ studio manager) brought over a box full of super fun props. The photo booth was a big hit with the kids, and some of the parents even joined in the fun. After back to back trips to California and Boston, I’m finally catching up on my editing.

Jamie (Helena’s pop) picked out this great indie rock song for their slideshow. The song is called “Ageless Beauty,” and I think it’s a pretty safe bet to say the title describes both of Jamie’s loves… Helena and her mommy Piper too. Can’t wait til’ next time guys!

This father and daughter duo, are the best of the best!

Okay, I confess I’m totally biased… you see, for the past four years, I’ve been lucky enough to call these two my family. There are not enough adjectives in the world to express how truly awesome Giovanni and Besso are! A few weeks ago, I titled the sneak peek “luckiest girl in the world.” Being the great dad that he is, Giovanni suggested this post’s title.

After the photo session, Giovanni also recommended the music for this slide show! Hope you enjoy it…

abby & charles {junior prom}

Half of this group had to run at track meets the afternoon of their junior prom! I’m so impressed that not only did everyone get showered, but they looked AWESOME!

The girls were gorgeous in their stunning gowns; and the guys were rocking the tuxedos!

I had such a great time photographing these amazing teens! I would like to send out a special thank you to our gracious hosts Donna and Mike. Mike did a lovely job manicuring the lawn for us.

I’ve been juggling a few projects this past week. I’m happy to say, however, that I just finished Abby’s senior portrait slide show. There are so many great shots. Not hard to do, when you have the stunningly gorgeous Abby to work with. I probably squeezed a few too many images into the slides show. Sometimes it is just hard to let go. Luckily, Abby and her family have a lot more photos to view with their online proofing and ordering gallery (one of the perks that comes with each of my portrait sessions).

If you are at all like me, you’ll want to watch this one several times. So without further ado, please enjoy…

Is it my imagination or kids becoming more and more amazing with each new generation? Della is a such a smart, funny, and talented 14 year old! In addition to being an avid reader, young author, viola player, I think we can add modeling to her list of talents. Capturing these fun lifestyle portraits was a blast. Thanks Della… you’re the best!

Here is a fun slide show from Della’s portrait session. I think the lyrics to Vetiver’s song “On The Other Side,” seem to capture Della’s essence… a wise and happy soul on her own course through life!

Also, I want to point out some exciting news. Clients can now purchase DVD’s of their slide shows as well as small photo books directly from the slide show control panel, by clicking on the icon that looks like, you guessed it… a DVD. Of course, you can still link to view more photographs not seen in the slide show and purchase prints with Pictage.com, by clicking on the shopping cart icon.
