A few years ago, I was honored to photograph Piper and Jamie’s beautiful wedding at Balboa Park in San Diego, CA. Can you say GORGEOUS? new wedding portfolio {has arrived}

I love checking the mailbox, even though it is usually just bills waiting on me, to bring them in and out of the cold. The occasional magazine always makes me happy, but when I get a package… look out! I’m like a kid on Christmas morning. Everything is on hold until that package is opened….

Margaret is an amazing veterinarian. I originally met her, after I adopted a dog that Margaret had rescued from an Indian Reservation, in Arizona. I was so happy when she asked me to photograph her wedding! It was great to meet David (also a veterinarian). They first met while studying their profession… very cool! Margaret…

new wedding portfolio {from pictage}

It is difficult to take the time to keep my portfolios updated with current work. That is why I’m so thrilled to have designed a sample album from a recent wedding. kelly and bill {los angeles, ca}

Kelly and Bill eloped! So what would have originally been an engagement portrait session, became tagged as post-elopement portraits. These two are so cute. They are so clearly in love (both with each other, as well as with their sweet dogs Violet and Vita). We had a great time photographing at their house, with their…

angel and rick {santa monica, ca}

Congratulations Angel and Rick! These two had a wonderful wedding, attended by a lovely and lively group of family and friends! While helping us with this image, Angel’s mom joked that this kiss is “Mother-in-Law Approved.” Jeanie Lee Toon did an amazing job with the flowers. It was really cool how they made different color…

“nostalgic” photo contest entry

At the last minute, I entered a photo into Pacific Weddings Magazine’s Photo Contest. The theme is “Nostalgic.” Most of the examples PW is featuring are posed portraits; but I just love this candid I caught during Karina and Bruno’s first dance. Nothing is more nostalgic than memories with a true love; and to me,…

k - We love Alice’s style. Her pictures capture a great quiet energy… you can see the inner thoughts and feelings. We felt very comfortable with her being around us all the time on our big day. That is probably the most telling thing we can say about her. We cherish the finished album. It contains all the hidden details and colors of what we experienced.
