graudation announcements {new products}

It is hard to believe just how quickly the Class of 2012′s graduation is approaching!

With that in mind, now is the perfect time to order your high school senior graduation announcements, invitations, and thank you cards.  I’m thrilled to introduce Alice G Patterson’s exclusive line of Graduation Announcements, created by my dear friend Carolynn (aka the brilliant talent of Two Brunettes)!

All of the cards sets are accompanied with white envelopes.

You can opt for an elegant folded 5×7 card or a simple double sided card.

Other customizations of text and color schemes are available.

Please contact me to discuss your Graduation Announcements needs.

In addition to these beautiful designs, we also still carry some of our popular designs from previous seasons seen here.

Shannon Rosan - What fun cards!

Mindy - These are so much better than the standard ones you get from the school/yearbook company!

laurie + travis {washington dc engagement}

Like so many of my wedding clients, Laurie and Travis are getting married in New York, but they live out of state.  Whenever possible, I always try to photograph engagement portraits where a couple currently lives.  I believe this offers a perfect opportunity to create wonderful portraits in locations that are meaningful to my clients. Not to mention, I love to a road trip!

For Laurie and Travis, this meant I traveled to, our nation’s beautiful capital, Washington DC.

We started off our adventure in Travis’ neighborhood…

Then jaunted over to Georgetown…

Lastly, we found ourselves on top of The John F. Kennedy Center, just as the sun was setting …

This is what I call a “real hug!”

So so so cute!

Speaking of locations with special meaning… this is where Laurie and Travis had their first kiss!

Laurie and Travis, thank you so much for the wonderful afternoon in DC.  I’m so looking forward to your upcoming Cooperstown Wedding!

xoxo, Alice

marriage {and babies}

Last year I had the honor of photographing Jen and Anton’s gorgeous Aurora Inn wedding…

I’m sending them a big blog congratulations, as they are now expecting their first baby together!

You all know how much I love photographing my clients, but it really means the world to me when they send that love back to me!  Here is a very sweet note Jen sent when she signed up for her “Baby’s First Year” portrait collection… “Hi Alice, So glad to be signed on for another project with you! Gives me peace of mind  & something extra to look forward to knowing that these specials moments won’t slip by unphotographed. xoxo Jen”

I’m excited beyond belief to meet this new little person!

Chrissy - They are so smart: a baby’s first year rushes by even faster than a wedding day!

happy march {it’s going to be special}

Happy March folks!

This is going to be a very special month.  By special, I mean we are going to be announcing some AWESOME specials!   We’ve got some exciting new plans, so be sure to stay tuned.

In other news, we recently teamed up with our fabulous pal Stephanie of Sissy’s Vintage & Nouveau Boutique in Baldwinsville, NY for a fun dog themed kids birthday party.  I think we had the cutest models ever!

We are so honored to have some of the photographs featured on the super popular, fun and fabulous blog!

One of the DIY details we created were these green whoopie pies to go along with the lime green color scheme of the party.  Seeing as it is March, I think these could be a fun treat for St. Patricks Day as well.

Be sure to come back for our specials that we will be promoting through out the month of March.

Mandy - This is adorable! I am so glad I stumbled upon this!
